Can I change whatās in my box for the next delivery?
You sure can. We designed the Farmer Dan Meat Box to make it easy to change your cut selections.
How do I change my meat choices?
You can change your meat choices anytime before your next order processes. Just go to your customer portal (youāll get a link) and click where it says āUpdate Contents.ā You can remove and/or add items for your next delivery.
Will I get a reminder that my meat box is coming soon?
Yes - we send you an email (and a text if you signup) 5 days before your order processes to remind you. Thereās a link in the email that takes you right to your customer portal.
Are you organic?
Everything we do on the farm is consistent with organic standards and practices, however we are not "certified" organic. This is a choice we've made due to the costs of getting certified. Our practices include no antibiotics, no chemical fertilizers, and, of course, no feed except for grass. The chicken from Tide Mill Farm is certified organic by MOFGA. The pork from Serendipity Farm - similar to our beef - is not certified organic but is raised to organic standards.
Can I add-on to my order?
Yes you can. In fact, each month we offer our subscribers āExclusiveā deals that are our lowest prices on some of your favorite cuts.
What if Iām going away when my order is scheduled to be delivered?
The great thing about the Farmer Dan Meat Box is you can skip your next delivery, or change the delivery date easily in your Customer Portal.
What if Iāve got more meat then I need right now?
That happens. So we make it easy to skip your next delivery - or change the date. Just go to your customer portal and click āSkip Delivery.ā
Will my order arrive frozen?
We pack your order in ice blankets (and/or dry ice) to insure it arrives frozen. We use insulated boxes (that are completely compostable) as well. There are times when an unforeseen delay with UPS can result in a 1-2 day delay. As long as your meat arrives ārefrigerator coldā (lower than 41 degrees) it is safe according to the USDA. In the event that your meat does not arrive frozen or refrigerator cold, let us know. We will replace it or issue you a full credit.
Can I track my order?
Yes you can. When your order ships you will receive an email with a UPS tracking number. Youāll also receive an email when it is āOut for Deliveryā and when it has been delivered.
When will I get my box?
Most weeks we ship on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. If you live in New England you will receive your box the next day. Outside of New England you will receive your box on the second day after it ships.
How do I login to my account?
You need to create an account to log in. Even if youāve placed an order with us, or received email from us, you still need to create an account.
Can you send me a text when my next order is going to be processed?
We can and we will. Sign up for text alerts when you check out.
