Honey Mustard Chicken Wings

Honey and mustard are a classic combination that complement our all-natural chicken really well, especially our wings. The addition of mustard seeds in this recipe add a little texture to the mix as do the chopped scallions. This is a great go-to recipe for wings that takes no time to prep, and aside from the mustard seeds, all the ingredients are probably things you already have in your pantry.

Ingredients

1-½ - 2 lbs Heartstone Farm’s chicken wings
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
4 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
a pinch of ground turmeric
juice and zest of 1 lemon
1 scallion, thinly sliced

Directions

Preheat oven to 400ºF
In a small saucepan, combine the honey, mustard, olive oil, mustard seeds, turmeric, lemon zest, and juice. Bring to a boil. Pour honey mixture over chicken, turning to coat
Bake for 40-50 minutes, turning once, until the chicken is cooked through (temperature should be 165°)
Meanwhile, peel the scallion and place peels into a bowl of cold water and chill to curl
Arrange cooked chicken wings in a bowl and garnish with scallion curls. Serve immediately
